Suffolk-based artist Michael Coulter paints exclusively in watercolour – his distinctive style heavily influenced by his training in illustration and printmaking. Depicting everyday life in his own light-hearted style, with movement, colour and gentle humour – and inspired by his love affair with a living landscape, sea shores, boats & estuaries – many of his paintings will resonate with those who share an appreciation of the sights associated with the Suffolk Coast.
